Some contend that a helmet's safety design is compromised by a light mounted on it. I mounted a CR1000 on the crest of a Bell Stratus Ghost MIPS helmet with this mount and an accident that split the helmet in 2 places sheared the mount and released the light. It did not torque my head or neck. That appears to be excellent design. It is plenty strong enough for normal occasional high loads but will give way with excessive force. Hats (or should I say helmets?) off to the Ravemen team
