There is a note that you should not pull the lizard skin when you wind it, but if you wind it properly, it will shift immediately, so it is good to wind the tapes with a lot of overlap. So, if it's wound a lot, it's thick and it will be moody, so this 1.8 mm is personally the best.

Usually I get the DSP 2.5 tape and it's great stuff. Did not realize I bought the 1.8 and I really like it. It was easy to install and I like the feel. I never bought the thinner stuff because it was just solid colors and a limited selection however the choices are growing and I'm very happy. With the gray ghost camo.
