I actually planned on making something to wrap the shock because I had to buy a new front fork because it the old was rusted out. I think this is a great investment because of what it does for the long term. This neoprene is pretty think for a small area, easy to wrap around the forks, i had to zip tie it because of the fender kit on my front wheel. No cons from install and 3 months of use.

I had bought two other Lizard Skins rear shock boot wrap for my Rockshox Monarch RC3 Plus and for my Fox Transfer external actuated dropper post. It worked so well that I decided to get the fork boot version for my Rockshox 140mm Revelation. The dimensions of this wrap is about 250mm x 120mm. About 60mm of that will be below the stanchion. So, there's enough neoprene to play with to wrap the whole usuable part of the stanchion. The neoprene can be stretched to fit the lower crown just like it fit on my bulging Monarch cannister. The neoprene is also fairly waterproof, which is great to protect the stanchions and the seals from fine dust and mud. I wish I had though of this a lot earlier. This stuff is so go and doesn't hinder the compression of the shocks and dropper post. It's awesome! I wish Lizard Skins makes these kind of wraps to fit around suspension linkages as well. It would save a lot of time and money if grit and water can be prevented to seep into the pivot bearings.

Easy to trim to fit and install. Keeps the shock tubes free of dust and dirt. And easy remove to clean.
This is my 2nd pair of bought, they are for my other bike.

I ride my bike in a desert environment and this thing has really helped keep my fork seals clean. The fine dust I used to have to clean out after every ride is no longer there. I don't like adding accessories like this to my bike but I should have done this a lot sooner.

Bought these for my 29er rockshox pike with boost spacing and 160mm travel. They fit perfect around the stantions but were a very tight fit around the upper part of the fork, almost to the point I didn't think they were going to work. Stretched them enough to make them work though and I've got a few rides on them and they haven't moved at all. They're about 1/4" short at the top of the stantion on the 160mm fork. Doesn't bother me though, it's protecting my stantions from getting scratched.
